There was an email sent out from DHCW yesterday from the Medical Examiner’s Service. It asked practices to add a long list of individual users to their Clinical Systems by 1st December 2023.

The introduction of the Medical Examiners Service has been negotiated at a national level by GPC Wales and the email received yesterday is frustrating as this is not an agreed approach.

The Medical Examiners Service does not legally come into force until 1st April 2024.

Therefore, no action is required on the email received yesterday and further meetings with the Medical Examiner Service have been urgently requested.
